Market Optimization Workshop
 
 Overview
This course is a 2-day workshop which will discuss the theory and application of optimization as it applies to the scheduling and dispatch of the PJM system. The course will explore the economic and operational factors impacting market optimization, unit commitment and economic dispatch. Simulation will be utilized to demonstrate concepts using a small generic power system. This training is targeted to generation system operators and energy marketers. PJM is recognized by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) as a continuing education provider who adheres to NERC Continuing Education Program Criteria.
