A1: When PJM requests SSR information from your company, it is vital that you provide it in a timely manner as soon as the request is received. These reports play a critical role in emergency management at PJM and can’t be delayed. We request feedback be given within 10 minutes of PJM request.

Q2: What is the difference between Current and Peak Status Reports?

A2: The Current Status Reports are snapshots of current system conditions and are updated every 15 minutes. The Peak Status Report is a forecast of systems conditions during the peak load period of the day and includes a control zone breakdown.

Q6: When can I acknowledge a report?
|
|
A6: You can only acknowledge a report if the PJM Scheduling Coordinator has an acknowledge next session opened. That is, the report must have a Last Acknowledged Start Date listed, but its Last Acknowledged End Date must be blank. Furthermore, you must not have any Acknowledgement Violations. The Current Acknowledgement Tolerance is given at the top of the report.

Q8: How often is the report updated?
|
|
A8: The report updates every 10 minutes. The time of the last update is given on the report as “Last Synced.” If the current time is more than 10 minutes after the Last Synced time, clicking Apply Filter will refresh the screen with an updated report.

Q9: When can I expect the Minimum Generation (MinGen) Report to be published?

A9: The MinGen report is published daily, usually between 2230 and 2300. However, if there is no need for an alert to be issued, this report will not be displayed.
