Q1: Why do the dates along the X-axis read 12/31/69?
A1: Customer must select at least one LMP node from the LMP List so that that the Flash player has valid data to plot. 12/31/69 is displayed when the date field is blank.

Q2: How do I view values?
A2: To view a spreadsheet with the numerical values for each graph, click on the legend at the bottom of the graph below the slide bar.

Q3: How do I view constraints?
A3: The Constraint button turns orange which indicates a new constraint. To view constraints when the constraint button has turned gray, click on Other/Constraints from the menu.

Q4: How do I save changes?
A4: After making any changes to a tab, adding tabs or adding LMPs, always click on Tabs/Save Desktop.

Q5: How do I change to Eastern Time Zone?
A5: To change displays to the prevailing time in the Eastern Zone (PJM), choose Tools/Options and check “Use Eastern Zone.” To activate this option, user must log off and then log back in.

Q6: Why am I experiencing slowness?
A6: One symptom of slowness when logging on is the number of LMP points on a user’s list. Some users have hundreds of LMPs on their list, but are only displaying a handful of them. Removing some of the least used LMPs will increase performance.

Q7: How do I size a pop-up window?
A7: Users cannot size the pop-up windows. Adobe does not support this feature in the current version of FLEX.

Q8: How do I change to Eastern Time Zone?
A8: To change displays to the prevailing time in the Eastern Zone (PJM), choose Tools/Options and check “Use Eastern Zone.” To activate this option, user must log off and then log back in.

Q9: What can I do if a pop-up window gets out of alignment?
A9: If the legend is clicked multiple times to bring up the pop-up window, the values can get out of alignment. To fix this problem, adjust the width of the first column. It is also suggested that the user might want to slide the pop-up window all of the way to the left of the screen and keep the pop-up open at all times.

Q10: How do I view points on a graph?
A10: To see the points on a graph, click Points at the bottom of the graph. To turn the points off, click Points again.

A11: To unlock the slide bar, click on the icon [..].

Q12: Why are the countour maps displaying as a blob?
A12: When contour maps are a blob, choose another map and then go back to the original map. A new mapping package is under development.

Q13: I received an error message on login. What should I do?
A13: If users get the message, “Movie is making the script run slowly”, answer No to the Abort Script question.

Q14: How do I delete tabs?
A14: To delete a tab, do the following: Click Tabs/Tab Manager Highlight Tab to be deleted and click Delete Note that Tab is still displayed, so select that Tab and then Tabs/Close Tab/OK Save Desktop

Q15: How do I handle LMP points with no values?
A15: If a user selects an LMP point which does not have values, such as NYISO DA points, the slide bar does not lock. A workaround would be to put these points on a different tab.

Q16: My eData does not seem to be updating. What should I do?
A16: eData is supported by three servers in production. If it appears that updates are not being received consistently, users can switch servers by logging off and closing their browser. When they log back in the load balancer should route them to a different server.
