ATSI Integration
On August 17, 2009, FirstEnergy Service Company, on behalf of American Transmission Systems, Inc. (ATSI), its transmission affiliate, filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to withdraw its transmission assets from Midwest Independent System Operator and to place them into PJM as of June 1, 2011. In addition to the ATSI transmission assets, the filing includes the ATSI Utilities, namely The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Ohio Edison Company, The Toledo Edison Company, and Pennsylvania Power Company, as well as the generation affiliate, FirstEnergy Solutions.

PJM will be working with the FirstEnergy affiliates listed above, other generator owners and load serving entities in the ATSI footprint, and all interested stakeholders to ensure that the ATSI integration is accomplished safely and reliably and in accordance with all reliability standards and market rules. To that end, the purpose of this Web site is to provide the latest and most accurate information about the integration activities and to facilitate timely responses to any questions or concerns.

Questions or concerns about the ATSI Integration activities should be directed to:
