System load that has the ability to react to wholesale prices or respond to PJM emergency conditions may be compensated for energy and capacity. Market opportunities are also available for system load to provide ancillary services, such as Synchronous Reserves or Regulation. The PJM eLRS software plays a vital role in managing this DSR process.
This eLRS training course will provide the participant the necessary information to conduct transactions related to DSR in PJM. Typical transactions include identifying locations, managing events, financial settlements, and EDCs and LSEs approvals or denials. This software will also have functionality to calculate Customer Baseline values (CBLs).
